This happened to be the last day of school. Picked the kids up afterschool and headed up to the Columbia Zoo for members night.
We got to see the Lions just lounging around. No hunting required when you live at the zoo.
We were able to catch a great shot of the Bears playing with each other. It was a lot of fun to sit and watch them play fight.
We were able to catch a Koala bear in rare form, Awake and sitting up! Yeah! Everytime we have gone to the zoo they are usually snuggled up and asleep.
We got to meet some of the birds up close.
One of our favorites parts of the night. Feeding the birds some nectar.
They have a new Kangaroo Walkabout exhibit. We got to be the first ones to walk in the exhibit.
Unfortunatley the Kangaroo's were not ready yet, but the Wallabys were.
Last but not Least, could not leave without getting our free carousel ride.
