We started off our day after lunch with playtime at the playground.
Some pics of the crew:
Then onto some canoeing around the lake and swimming at the beach. Sorry no pics.
Didn't want to chance dropping my camera in the water if our canoe tipped.
We some how managed to keep the canoe upright, despite Evan trying to tip it over by jumping from side to side.
Around 5:00 it was getting time for some yummy dinner.

Low Country Boil: Shrimp, Sausage, Potatoes, Corn, & some Vidalia onions and other yummy flavorings. Served up on some aluminum foil because I forgot the paper plates. Some of you think I did this on purpose. I promise I didn't. Aluminum foil was better than newspaper, Right! It was GOOD! If only I could have recorded the sounds coming from everyone as we engorged ourselves on such great food.
After we stuffed ourselves with so much food we couldn't eat anymore, Thad comes out with his special Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler, so we stuffed ourselves some more.
After allowing our food to settle for a while we decided to play some games.
A little football between the boys:
after the men read the direction on how to put it together.
And we cant forget our game of Volleyball. We played girls against guys. Girls winning the First Game!!
Yea! Loading all of the pictures finally worked! I've been sooo looking forward to this post! That sure was a fun day! What great memories!... and the food was so yummy...it's making my mouth water just thinking about it! Let's definitely do it again real soon! :) I've got a few pictures of my own that I plan on blogging once Thad hits the road. Stay tuned! :)
